Heavenly Pumpkin Pie

Yields one pie; with a lighter, creamier texture and superior taste, you might just call it heavenly.

Time:
Active prep- 10 minutes
Bake time- 70 minutes

You will need-
2 1/2 cups fresh pumpkin puree (or 1 can store-bought pumpkin puree)
Pie crust
3 eggs
1 1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup real maple syrup
1/2 cup half and half
1/2 cup salted butter, cubed
1/2 tbsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp ginger
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/4 tsp cloves
Stand mixer or hand mixer with a large mixing bowl

Directions:
1.) Preheat oven to 350°F.

2.) Add all ingredients to the bowl of a stand mixer, or a large mixing bowl if using a hand mixer. Mix well; butter will be broken into small pieces when it has been sufficiently mixed.

3.) Pour into prepared pie crust and bake for 70 minutes,  or until a toothpick inserted near the center comes out clean.

**Foil may be added around the crust edges to prevent burning. Remove foil after the first 35-40 minutes and continue baking as directed.

4.) Remove from oven and allow to cool completely before slicing.
