Well, we finally jumped in with both feet and have started our own YouTube channel!
While this move has always been up for discussion, I’m painfully shy in front of the camera (I have a face for radio, you guys!) and I feel super out of place and fumbly trying to record myself. But the “what if” aspect has always been there. After a discussion with some friends a week ago and asking ourselves some hard questions, a video from the channel “Homesteady” appeared in my feed. The general idea was, “if you’ve ever considered starting a YouTube channel, the time is NOW.” That was the final push that I needed to take the plunge.
Right now, our plan is to post “seasonal” homesteading content, capturing moments of our everyday lives on our little farm and bringing you behind the scenes with us a little bit more. During the warmer months, this will mean more beekeeping and gardening, and in the colder days of fall and winter, we will focus on preserving, cooking from scratch, and “planning” for the seasons to come. Our latest video features our morning farm chores, brings you along for a trip to our Azure Standard pick-up, and shows our Azure haul.

I hope you will join us (SUBSCRIBE) as we embark on this (slightly terrifying) journey! You can find us HERE!! 》》》 https://youtube.com/@severthivesandhomestead?si=TNinV6m_aDiIQoVI
See you soon!
